Description of Project:

Sukut mobilized its fleet of dozers and scrapers, including the new CAT D11T dozer, to move more than 1.1 million cubic yards of dirt and rip nearly 70,000 tons of rock. Sukut installed portions of the 4,700’ long storm drain at depths greater than 30 feet. In addition, Sukut constructed numerous structures including a 3’ x 6’ reinforced concrete box that, upon completion of the Bake Parkway bridge project, will flow into the San Diego Creek. In preparation of a later phase and to accommodate the upgrading of an aging water line for the Irvine Valley Water District, Sukut also installed an essential 24” fusion welded HDPE reclaimed line.
