Conni Zuniga Vice President, Human Resources
As vice president of human resources, Conni’s focus is to maintain Sukut Construction’s people-centric culture, the primary force behind the company’s success, while supporting the organization’s strategic vision.
Conni brings over 20 years of construction-based experience. Prior to joining Sukut, Conni served as the director of human resources for a mid-size mechanical subcontractor, directing various functions including human resources, payroll, safety, fleet, and risk. Conni helped grow the organization from 120 employees with $10 million in annual revenue to over 1,300 employees with $200 million in yearly revenue. Throughout her career, Conni has made tremendous contributions to organizational growth both organically and through acquisitions.
Conni holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a master’s degree in Business Administration from California Baptist University. In addition, Conni received her Senior Professional in Human Resources designation in 2015 and a certificate in Human Resources Management from the University of California, Riverside Extension, in 2005. Conni belongs to various human resources associations and currently serves as a member of PIHRA’s Riverside Chapter board.
In her free time, Conni enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. Her interests include reading, working out, and taking trips to the mountains or the beach.
