Altamont Landfill – FA 2 Phase 3 Cell Construction & Stormwater Improvements

This phase of the Altamont project included the excavation of 2.6 million cubic yards of soil needed to construct a new cell for Waste Management. The project also included the installation of an underdrain and LCRS layers in addition to 8,000 linear feet of the HDPE pipe. The four layers consisted of gravel, earth fill, low permeability layer, and protective soil cover.
