North Indio Flood Control Phase 2 Project

Sukut is constructing 16,000 linear feet of a flood control channel, with over 100,000 cubic yards of concrete placement and more than one million cubic yards of excavation. The new channel crosses six existing public streets and requires the construction of reinforced concrete box culverts, utility relocations, and street reconstruction. The new channel includes 2,500 linear feet of reinforced concrete box culverts, 8,700 linear feet of concrete-lined trapezoidal and 3,200 linear feet of rectangu­lar concrete channels, as well as 1,600 linear feet of concrete channel transition structures.
